CG Leave-in Conditioner

A leave-in is a must in your hair routine when you feel it is important to give your curls the best care. A leave-in should not be confused with a regular conditioner.

A leave in strengthens dry, damaged and porous hair. You apply this conditioner after shampooing your curls. Then you don't need to rinse the leave in out. At Curlygirlmovement we have the best leave in conditioner made especially for your hair type.

What is a leave in hair conditioner?

As the name implies, a leave in is a conditioner that you can leave in your hair (leave in). So you don't rinse it out. Leave in conditioners ensure that your hair receives deep hydration and long-term nourishment. A good leave in is ideal for curls that need extra care.

When your hair has been washed with a shampoo, it is important to close opened cuticles again. This is only possible with a hair mask, normal conditioner or, of course, a leave in.

A leave in provides shiny hair as a result.

Leave-in conditioners vs. regular conditioners

  • Normal conditioners: apply and then rinse out
  • Leave-in conditioners: apply and do not rinse out

What are the benefits of leave in conditioners?

  • Softens and nourishes the hair
  • Reduces frizz and split ends
  • Moisture in the hair is better retained by the moisturizing properties
  • Extra boost when your hair needs it and is convenient for you
  • The best leave in for when you have little time

How do you use a leave in?

Using a leave in is very simple. You bring your curls into the desired shape so your curls can enjoy extra nourishment and hydration all day long.

Leave in conditioners can be used in two different ways:

  1. A substitute product for a regular conditioner
  2. As a complementary product to your hair care routine

Use a leave in on dry or towel-dried hair. When using a leave in as a replacement for a normal conditioner, make sure you wash your hair with shampoo only. Then you can easily apply the leave in to the lengths and ends of (towel) dry hair.

When you use a leave in to supplement your hair routine, you can use the leave in after washing your curls with a shampoo and conditioner. The advantage is that you can also easily use the leave in between washes.

How many times can I use a leave in?

It depends on the needs of your hair when and how often you can use a leave in. Some hair types need a daily boost but others can go longer without extra nourishment.

So that's why it's very personal. The best thing to do is to experiment and see what works best for you.

When do you use a leave in?

You can use a leave in at any time, which is what makes a leave in product so ideal.

Use a leave in if:

  • You have dry, damaged or frizzy hair
  • Need extra care for curly hair, for example
  • When you suffer from split ends
  • You have colored hair, the damaged hair to care for and the color longer beautiful to keep
  • You have long hair, long hair gets damaged faster by friction and harmful influences, among other things
